Three case studies complete
eClips Blog > Three case studies complete
We've been very busy of late working on some exciting case studies for RISE. RISE is the voice of social enterprise in the South West promoting the development of sustainable enterprises in the region.
As part of RISE's commitment to encouraging others to look into the options of starting a social enterprise, RISE contacted Eclips Film in order to film a set of three case studies.
Well, what inspiring places they all tuend out to be. Firstly, we made a film down at Bosence Community which is a specialist drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre near Hayle, Cornwall.
Our film focussed on the support recovering addicts get at Bosence, what they do on the farm and what plans the social enterprise has for the future (which include the opening of a specialist detoxification facility).
Secondly, we were asked to promote the social aims of the famous Bernard Leach Pottery in St Ives which only recently recived a massive grant because of the excellent work it does in promoting local pottery. Focussing on the resident potter, some upcoming talent and interviewing the director, the Bernard Leach film has been one of our favourites to work on.
Thirdly, we filmed Brian at Rill Organic Transformation, an inspiring, and vital, project encouraging the community to use compost and sustainable gardening / farming methods. The film icluded a dawn visit to a Cornish beach in order to film Brian collecting seaweed so turned out to be a varied and interesting shoot to say the least.
All in all, the three films represent what Eclips Film loves doing best. No nonsense, clear, concise but visually appealing films targetted to our client and doing exactly what was asked.
We are very much looking forward to working with RISE on future projects.
